MO'NIQUE WINS AWARD FOR "PUSH" AT SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

Our favorite girl Mo'Nique won the Special Jury Prize for acting for her performance in the divisince Lee Daniels movie PUSH a novel based on the book written by Sapphire. The movie is about a bleak yet redemptive drama of sexual abuse and teen motherhood. Lee Daniels is no stranger to movie making. He produced the Oscar-winning movie Monster's Ball. Remember that is the movie in which Miss Halle Berry won an Oscar for. (ummm hmmmmm)

The movie Push also won the awards for dramatic grand jury prize and the audience award for Best U.S. Drama. Also, ThickMisses Sherri Shephard is in the movie as well. Other celebrities you might recognize are Mariah Carey Paula Patton and Lenny Kravitz. I hear that Mo'Nique is getting some OSCAR BUZZ for this movie.
