MO'NIQUE AND HUBBY DO IT UP FOR JET MAGAZINE
Mo'Nique and hubby Sidney Hicks cover this week's Jet Magazine.
Sid and I had a conversation, What he said to me was motivation. It was so gentle and sweet and he wasn't judgemental. He said, 'Baby, that's too much and I want you for a lifetime'.
Her Career
Sid recently negotiated a deal with BET for Mo'Nique to host her own late night talk show "The Mo'Nique Show" Her and her husband with executive producers of the show to air five nights a week for one hour. "It's going to be Mo'real, Mo'love, and Mo' laughs, said Mo'nique. It will be where Arsenio Hall left off.
On teaming up w/ her husband
" We've been working together now for four years." saids Hicks. "I've had the pleasure of being the guy who she entrusted to write her lines, from the monologue to the jokes, for the last BET Awards. WE collectively go over the comedy and produced I Coulda Been Your Cellmate.
