MIA TYLER:CREATING MYSELF
Plus-sized model Mia Tyler, the daughter of rocker Steven Tyler and half-sister to actress Liv Tyler, talks to ET in her first TV interview about the night she almost took her own life!
"I felt like I was so lost and there was no way out and I was tired of being lonely," she tells ET's Thea Andrews. "I was really on the edge and I was ready to do it and I wasn't scared."
Mia has written a no-holds-barred autobiography, Creating Myself, in which tells the unvarnished truth about the night she sat on the edge of a Hollywood Hills balcony and considered taking the leap.
"I remember sitting on that balcony and, for the first time, I just didn't care and that's when I really knew I was in trouble, because I didn't care about other people," she admits.
Mia also reveals in Creating Myself her addiction to cutting, a phenomenon in which one stabs oneself until blood is drawn.
"Cutting is like doing a drug," Mia says. "You cut yourself and there's a moment where you don't feel anything, then the blood rushes and you feel alive … I was a secret cutter. I knew it was wrong, but it felt so good, so I didn't want people to see, so I started getting tattoos to cover my scars."Mia, who was a very successful plus-sized model earning between $20,000 and $30,000 per shoot, says she still battles the desire to cut herself.
The book "Creating Myself" is on sale now.

US REP. STEPHANIE TUBBS JONES HAS PASSED
Tubbs Jones, the first black woman to represent Ohio in Congress, died Wednesday evening after suffering a brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She was 58.
"She poured her heart and soul into her job," said U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio. "She worked so hard and gave everything she could. I'm devastated. Wherever we'd go, we'd speak of each other as brother and sister. It's an incalculable loss."
Tubbs Jones represented Ohio's heavily Democratic 11th District for five terms. She was the first black woman to serve on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee and the first to serve as a common pleas judge in Ohio.
The congresswoman suffered the hemorrhage while driving her car in suburban Cleveland Heights on Tuesday night. She had been driving erratically and her vehicle crossed lanes of traffic before coming to a stop, police said. An officer found her.
An aneurysm is a dangerous weakness or bulge in a blood vessel that can leak or rupture, causing bleeding. In Tubbs Jones, the aneurysm burst in an inaccessible part of her brain, said Dr. Gus Kious, president of Huron Hospital in East Cleveland where Tubbs Jones died. Several news organizations, including The Associated Press, incorrectly announced her death about four hours before she died.

JENNIFER HUDSON ON BILLBOARD
“It is risky, because people expect you to just do one thing” “I’m going to take the chance and show what else is a part of me.”
On being actress and singer at the same time:
“I remember doing ‘Dreamgirls,”‘ “I would look at Beyonce, because she was doing acting and singing, and I’m like, ‘How the hell can she do that?’ Now I’m looking at it like, ‘Oh, God, all right, if she can do it, if Jamie and Queen can do it, then it means it can be done.”‘
On not being able to be versatile on “American Idol.”:
With ‘Idol,’ you only get a minute or so to sing a song,” “You can’t show all your talent in that moment. With each experience you try to show more and more and more.”
